I got a call on my landline but there was no number given. I checked by calling 1471 and found out the number. Turns out, it’s the same firm that phoned me a couple of times yesterday using 01256 806879.

Turns out the first cold call I talked about earlier was from a survey firm, I think it was called Sarissa or something similar. They seem to sell on the contacts to other businesses - like Skean Homes, which called me after. So yeah, I’m pretty sure that number is linked to a cold-calling outfit that likely covers way more than just loft insulation.

Got a call from someone claiming to be a local energy company wanting to talk about insulation. They never said which company they were from or who they actually were. I told them I’m not interested since I’m pretty sure these are scams, then ended the call. In the last 5 minutes, I’ve had 3 more calls from different numbers, and when I checked them here, they all seem to be linked to insulation scams too.

Noticed lots of calls from numbers like +44 1798 888… seems like they’re just making copies of the original number or something. Also, about foam insulation - I'd avoid it, loads of mortgage lenders don’t like it and it could cause problems when you try to sell your home later on!
