The phone rang and I picked up but there was nothing but silence on the other end, so I just ended the call. I noticed the number started with 01798, which is my local code, but the next part, 66, seemed unfamiliar. Curious, I dialled it back and got a weird recorded voice telling me to wait to be put through to an operator. It all felt odd and robotic, so I decided to hang up straight away.

I didn’t pick up as I get loads of annoying calls. The first few digits, 01798, are from my area, but the rest, 662011, don’t match any local lines I know. Seems like it’s one of those internet calls pretending to be real. Most likely just a nuisance.
