Got a silent ring from a number I didn’t recognise, so I told BT and blocked it straight away. Also reported it to Action Fraud just in case. My landline’s been ex-directory for nearly two decades now, so I’m really hoping Data Protection will step in and take action. According to the data protection rules about personal data on computers, this kind of thing should definitely be cracked down on! Would be good to hear they’re actually making arrests!!
