I had a call from this number around 7:15 PM last night, right as I was sitting down for dinner. From what I gather, it seems to be linked to a college in Swindon, based on what others have shared. My son attended college in Essex, so I can't fathom why they'd be ringing me up! It makes me wonder whether educational institutions are trading our contact details-if that’s the case, they’re not much different from that lot on "Fakebook!" It’s been a right nuisance dealing with these spam calls for the past three days; what a coincidence, eh? I doubt it.

However, the absence of a name raised a red flag for my husband, prompting him to end the call. I too found the whole situation rather odd, considering it’s been quite some time since my daughter was at that institution. Not to mention, the fact that they didn’t identify themselves made me quite wary. So, I took it upon myself to trace the number from our landline, only to find it unfamiliar. Got a call from someone claiming to be from Sunderland College, asking if I’m currently employed like they were doing some sort of job check. Thing is, they had nothing to do with my job at all, so I just ended the call. It came from a Swindon number, if that helps.
