I got this phone number from a guy called Aslam who said he worked for Thames Water in South Africa. He told me to call 01793566556, claiming it was the direct line to the payment department in the UK. But after checking, Thames Water doesn’t have that number at all. Sounds like Aslam might be dodgy, so watch out before handing over your card info to support staff who aren’t even based in the UK. Definitely seems like something fishy is going on here.
