Just before half past one, I got a call from a bloke with a strong South Asian accent saying my IP address had been hacked or something. I told him I’d heard all that nonsense before and hung up right away. A couple of minutes later, the same guy rang back, now threatening to disconnect my internet if I didn’t listen. Lucky for me, the internet’s still working fine while I’m typing this, so guess he didn’t manage a thing.

Some bloke called himself Terry from Microsoft Centre, but I quickly ended the call when it sounded fishy. As far as I know, Microsoft doesn’t ring you out of the blue like that. Even after I said I was hanging up, “Terry” just kept on chatting, which was pretty annoying.
