I answered the phone, asked who was calling, and then they just dropped the call right after.

Got a call on my phone from what looked like a Swansea mobile. I picked up thinking it might be a mate from there with a new number. But all I got was loads of background noise from a call centre, and some young woman going on about reviewing my life insurance. Told her to stop calling, ended the call, then blocked and reported the number straight away. Total scam call!

Some lady with an American accent said she was from Watford, but seemed fishy to me. I reckon they’re just using Watford as a cover for calls that actually come through the internet somewhere else.

I had a call from a number I didn't recognise, and when I asked them who they were, they just hung up on me.
