Somebody called saying they were Lee from Media Services, but the line was really crackly so I told him I couldn’t hear well. He just ended the call straight away. Happened on 17th June 2019 around 4 in the afternoon.

Some bloke called saying he had details about my unpaid debts. Problem is, I haven’t got any. When I told him that, he snapped back, “Don’t be daft, you do!” Sounded really harsh. I told him straight up I’ve no debts, then ended the call. Clearly just trying their luck.

Got a call from someone saying they were doing a credit check, they already had my name but I didn’t bother staying on the line. Ended up hanging up and blocking the number straight away.

I get calls all the time from some place called Credit Investigations, like three times a day minimum. I block their number whenever they ring but they just keep coming through with new numbers, sometimes even from mobiles. I barely get to say hello and find out who they are, and when I tell them to stop calling, they just hang up and then ring again but with a different name and number. Proper annoying!

This number has called my TPS-listed landline loads of times over the past few weeks. Most of the time no one replies when I answer and say hello, so I used 1471 to check the number. Today there was a brief pause after I said hello, then a woman with a foreign accent said hello back, but I just ended the call. Got a call from that number earlier. Some bloke with a thick Pakistani accent who called himself Steve - bit of a strange choice of name if you ask me. He said he’d cut my gas supply because I hadn’t paid my bill. Thing is, I use gas bottles, so it’s obviously a dodgy scam.
