He asked for us by name, but I didn’t reveal who I was - simply replied with, “What is this about?” To my surprise, he hung up on me! How utterly discourteous! It appears that when you mention having had an accident a few years ago, confused.com seems to share this information with a motley crew of dubious companies like these clowns. It's almost as if they can sniff out a target for cash.

It's quite evident they're involved in personal injury claims, which struck us as rather ironic since they seemed to assume we'd been in an accident and were in search of their services! Received a call this morning, on a number we strictly reserve for online communications, at 10:45 on the 26th of January, 2009. The number was 01792823816. The caller, who introduced herself as 'Kyle', stated she was reaching out on behalf of "The Compensation Professional Network". When we mentioned we were unfamiliar with their organisation and inquired about the nature of the call, she claimed to be calling from Swansea, fitting with the 01792 area code. Upon asking for their address, she responded rather defensively with, "Why do you need that?" I mentioned it was simply for the purpose of our conversation, to which she curtly replied, "Right," before abruptly ending the call.

When our partner answered with “Yes, speaking,” the caller mentioned something about wanting to file a claim for personal injury. Confused, our partner replied, “No, where did you get that idea?” At that point, the woman on the other end promptly disconnected. It certainly seems like there’s a dodgy scam at play here!
