This evening, at precisely 18:35 on the 14th of December, 2016, I received an unsolicited call on my ex-directory phone number while my wife and I were seated at the dinner table, awaiting news regarding some concerning family matters. To my surprise, the individual on the other end was attempting to pitch some sort of enhancement to solar panels.

What irks me is that these individuals have neither my consent nor any right to disturb my private number. Although the caller was reasonably courteous, I made it abundantly clear that they should remove themselves from the conversation. It felt like a significant intrusion into our evening, leaving both my partner and I quite irritated and as though we’d been 'invaded' in our own home.

After investigating through your site, it appears this rogue caller is linked to 'Solar Plant' operating out of Swansea.

I sincerely hope this matter can be addressed promptly.

Solar Plants Ltd claim on their website to be a “family run, ethical, fast expanding company.” if that really is them ringing. The number is from the Swansea area. I’m not interested in firms who clearly ignore the TPS and just cold call anyway. It sounded like an auto-dial too. Plus I’m curious where they pulled info on our solar panels since we’ve never dealt with them before. Also, why would someone bother posting about them being “nice” here - most people come to these sites because they’re fed up with annoying calls, not to praise the callers.

I've had these folks ring me not once, but twice today! They called me on my mobile as well as my landline, both at the same time, on the 25th of February, 2016. Could you kindly put an end to this? It's become quite bothersome, and I'm really not keen on being disturbed like this. Cheers!

They call me nearly every day for some time, then disappear for a bit, then suddenly start ringing again. Sometimes they call me up to three times in one day. Now they’ve even started ringing on Saturdays!! I never pick up. Honestly, these spam callers should be banned completely.

They used to ring me every day trying to push solar panels. I told the lady I spoke with to take my number off their list because the calls were driving me mad. That was a few weeks back and I hadn’t heard a peep since. Now they’re back at it again and it seems they’re selling something else this time. Feels like they’re just a telesales team you can hire. Proper annoying.

Picked up the phone and said straight away "NOT INTERESTED IN SOLAR PANELS" and the guy on the line said he wasn't selling solar panels at all, then tried pushing a cheaper gas deal on me. I told him no thanks and ended the call. Bet I'll get another one tomorrow, they've been phoning me twice daily every day for the last week.
