I got a call from some firm called Review Life saying our life insurance was up for a yearly review and that we’d supposedly agreed to a chat. Problem is, we dont have life insurance at all and never signed up for anything like this. Also, GDPR’s clear - they can’t use your info without permission, and only for the reason you gave it. You can ask where they got your details from and tell them to delete it. Make sure you get all their company info before you do.

Got a call from this number while I was on my break at work, didn't have a clue who it was so I just ignored it. Figured if it was something real they'd leave a voicemail but nope, nothing. Did my regular check on Who's Number, and now this is getting blocked just like all the other annoying scammers wasting everyone's time.

I let this number ring through to voicemail since it wasn’t familiar, then I had a quick search on Dr Google. Luckily, other folks had already left reviews on this number over at who-called[###][###] - my go-to site for this kinda thing! I got a call from this number claiming to be from some insurance company. When I asked how they got my number, they said it’s because I looked online at life insurance before. I told them I definitely hadn't searched for life insurance online. They insisted I must have done at some point, but I repeated I didn’t and told them to stop calling me. A bloke with a plain British accent said he was from 'Compare Insurance'. He said it wasn't a sales pitch but was checking if I had enough life insurance. I told the TPS about it but they said they couldn’t do anything. I’ve now blocked the number using my BT 'choose to refuse' service. Didn’t know I had that option before, you just have to dial 14258.

A few months back, I got a call from this number. The person on the line kept going on about my life insurance and said there were urgent changes I needed to deal with. I told her if there was anything important, my insurer would contact me by letter. She was quite pushy and after a while I just said I wasn’t interested and hung up. I don’t remember exactly what company she claimed to be from, but I checked with Companies House and couldn’t find any business registered under that name, so they’re definitely scammers.
