I answered this call on my Mum's phone - The lady claimed to be from DWP and said because 'you're on pension credit' (I didn’t say I was the person she wanted nor did I confirm the address she mentioned, which actually was right), she said my Mum could get loft insulation, cavity wall insulation, solar panels, and stuff. I asked her a few times why the number showed up as spam/fraud on my phone and had been reported before - she couldn’t really explain. So, I told her all the insulation work was already done, which I reckon a proper official would have already known.

I’m absolutely fed up with these scam phone calls! It feels like I’m constantly bombarded by them. No matter how many numbers I block, they just keep coming back. It’s exhausting!

A person from AV Solar called, but when they figured out I don't own the house, they just ended the call.

Hung up just as I was about to pick up. Pretty clear it was an automated sales pitch. I've blocked the number now.

Ignored the call, checked the number on this site and saw loads of bad reviews. I usually don’t pick up unknown numbers, if it’s important they’ll leave a message. Better to just block the number on your phone.

Kept getting calls while I was at work, I don’t know anyone from Swansea nor do I have any connections there.

A woman claimed she was with Home Energy Scotland and asked about the age of my windows. I ended the call because it seemed odd that someone from Scotland would be calling me from Swansea.

Got a call on my phone on 15th December but no voicemail left, after seeing what others said about this number I went ahead and blocked it and deleted it 😕

Some lady called askin if i was the owner. Told her no and just ended the call. Then i blocked the number straight away.

Got a call about solar panels.

Got a call from ‘Energy Advice Service’ with a recorded message. They gave an option to take my number off their list, so I did that and blocked them straight away!

I’ve started blocking all these unwanted calls lately.

Got a call from someone claiming to be EcoHomes Scotland, was trying to push window sales.

This number called me three times saying they were from NHS patient services, so I just blocked it.

They didnt even try to leave a message.

Emma’s been on the phone AGAIN asking if I own the house AGAIN and I keep saying NO!!! Seems like being rude and a bit harsh is the only way to stop them bothering you.

They said they were from some energy advice firm. Told them to take me off their list! Got six more calls after that, so I’ve just blocked the number now!

I got a call from someone claiming to be from the National Energy Advice Service. When I inquired about their employer, there was a long pause followed by a disconnection. They tried ringing me again later today. I really need to make a note to block this number!

I usually just ignore calls from numbers I don’t know.

I've been getting calls from this number around four or five times a day for the past week. I reckon it's probably spam.

I've received calls from this number several times throughout the week. The caller, who went by Emma, inquired whether I was the owner of my property and then proceeded to pitch some solar panel deal. Honestly, it reeks of a complete scam!

They were trying to hard sell loft insulation or some sort of deal. Proper pushy and clueless salespeople. Best to just ignore these twats.

This number keeps ringing me but never leaves a voicemail. My phone marks it as possible spam, so I just ignore it.

She said that was fine and I ended the call. But now that number keeps ringing me multiple times a day. I’ve got the answerphone on and they just stay silent, no messages left at all. It’s really annoying.

For the second day in a row, I’ve had calls about solar panels. Today, I missed the call before they hung up. Does anyone know if there’s a number I can call to get my name taken off their list?

I got a call from someone named Emma claiming to be from a roofing firm - total scam.

Got a call from someone called Emma, she kept asking if I owned the house. Went on about mine being 1 of only 10 homes nearby that might get some sort of deal on solar panels. She was really pushy, kept wanting to know what kind of property I have and if I'm the owner. I told her it’s none of her concern, then she just hung up. Pretty persistent she was, bit of a pushy salesperson if you ask me. Already have solar panels anyway... blocked her number!

This number rings me up loads of times every week. As with anything unexpected, I just let it go and look it up later. Solar panels in Wales, but I’m based in Devon and already got them installed! Honestly, I'd recommend anyone to just block this lot and hope they get the message and leave us alone!

Got a call this morning around 10, but I don’t know anyone from Cardiff so I just blocked it. Then the same number tried ringing me twice more at 11.10 and just after midday. Thankfully my phone automatically rejected both cos of the block. Fingers crossed they stop trying now that they know I’m not picking up!

Had loads of missed calls from this number in the last day. Finally picked up today coz I was curious. Now that I know, it's on the block list. I'll watch out for any other 01792 numbers and block 'em as well.

Got a call from a number I've never seen before, no clue who it could be or what company from Swansea it’s meant to be. Just blocked it straight away.

Got another call from someone claiming to be an energy adviser nearby. When I asked if she was calling from Swansea, she seemed a bit confused and then mentioned she was actually ringing from Lancaster. Then she just hung up.

Today, on 16th November 2023, I received three calls on my mobile from this number at 12:59, 16:14, and 17:51. Since I'm not familiar with the number and don’t know anyone in Swansea besides my contacts at the DVLA, I chose to let the calls go unanswered. My voicemail is set up, yet they never bother to leave a message. Taking into account what others have reported, it seems wise to go ahead and block this number.

I get calls all the time from loads of different people claiming to be from my energy provider. They’re always trying some new trick to get my details. One woman even told me to go f##k my mum when I called them out on their nonsense.

Someone said they were from the Energy Advice Centre, but they couldn’t even say my name right so I just ended the call. It’s the second time they’ve rang me today.

Got a call from a Swansea number claiming to be from a UK solar company. They said I could get solar panels installed and get a grant too. Kept pushing even after I told them I already have solar panels. When I said no thanks, they just hung up on me. Definitely steer clear!

I've been inundated with scam and nuisance calls for over three weeks now, and it’s becoming unbearable. The number 01792722158 rang us on Friday night at 10 o'clock, followed by another call just ten minutes later. Given my disability and reliance on a wheelchair, my husband had to step out to open the gates to our building. Strangely, they managed to reach his mobile too, despite us being with different service providers - I'm with O2, and he’s with EE. I've blocked the number and reported it to O2, but honestly, they've been utterly useless. Just this morning, I received yet another call at 10 am, which was clearly identified as a scam, and I swiftly deleted it. Additionally, there's a group of fraudsters peddling cryptocurrency scams; they bombard me with calls-sometimes up to thirty times a day and night, using a different number each time. I attempt to block and report them to O2 as best I can, but at this rate, the only feasible solution seems to be changing my number, which I’m really reluctant to do. My mobile is tied to various critical services, including the District Nurses, online banking, and shopping. With seven months to go on my O2 contract, switching providers would mean incurring charges. If anyone knows of a way to effectively report these persistent calls, I’d be incredibly grateful, as they've really begun to affect my well-being. I’ve searched online for a government body to report this to, but have come up empty-handed. All I want is for these callers to cease and desist so I can have some peace!

Random numbers keep calling me and I’m so over it. Every time I block one, another one pops up ringing me. Seriously, the government needs to step in and put an end to this nonsense!!

I received a call from someone identifying herself as Emma from UK (Cooler?) who inquired if I lived at the property. When I requested her to clarify the company name, she just reiterated her initial introduction. "Emma from UK (Cooler?) Am I speaking to the homeowner?" Honestly, I was left a bit baffled and thought I'd misheard her. So, I asked, "UK who?" but all I got back was the same line again. "Emma from UK (Cooler?) Am I the homeowner?" Then, it went quiet. I started to question whether I was on the line with a robot, so I decided to cut the conversation short and hang up.
