Got a call from a Scottish lady at about 3:15 on Sunday, claiming to be from the National Heating Advice Centre, saying I might qualify for a new boiler. They’ve tried to ring me before and when I told them they were calling a number on the TPS list, they said they’d fix it on their end. Obviously, they still haven’t bothered to update their info.

Yeah, spoke to two people claiming to be from some "National Heating Advice Centre" or something like that. Both sounded Scottish, but the number was from Swansea? They were trying to set up a heating check and said they provide boilers with "no upfront charge", but you pay through your fuel savings. Sounds like it'll end up costing more overall. I'm registered with TPS, so I really shouldn't have been getting these calls at all.

got a few calls from a noisy call centre claiming to be the national heating advice place. when i asked for a website, they said it was zanussi. turns out its zanussi phoning people out of the blue trying to push boilers. they tell you theres grants you can get but thats not true. i read in the guardian this is a scam. im gonna report them to ofcom and hope more folks do as well.

Got a call from someone saying they were from the National Heating Advice Bureau. The woman, Alana, actually knew my name so I guess it wasn’t some auto dialler thing. The number had a Swansea area code, and sounded like a Scottish lady offering a free boiler swap or something.

Got a call from a Scottish lady with a thick accent I struggled to follow, about some boiler upgrade on August bank holiday Monday, from an 01792 Swansea number, which seemed fake to sound local.
