Got a call claiming there’d been a car crash and they were checking who was at fault. They somehow knew my name which creeped me out - must’ve picked up my info from somewhere dodgy. Definitely sounded like one of those scam calls.

It was definitely a call centre. They claimed to be from some company handling car accident stuff. Sounds like they’ve got access to some new database or something, full of people who’ve recently been in crashes. If this number pops up, best to just block it right away, or at least hold off on answering until it’s clear the number isn’t being spoofed again.

Never got around to picking up, but honestly, if I had, I’d have just ended the call straight away.

My husband got a call from this number, someone called themselves Craig Cassidy said they were with Compare Life Insurance. They ended up being really rude and made my husband feel like he was daft.

I got a call from some call centre and the person kept saying hello over and over, like about ten times! I'm definitely blocking that number now!
