Picked up and all I got was quiet, then the line went dead.

I got a call saying my mobile provider had gone under and my number was no longer valid. The person claimed they could sort me out with a fresh contract through a different firm. When I tried to find out why O2 was struggling, the caller got really rude and started shouting swear words at me, then just hung up abruptly.

This bloke called up asking about the make of my telly because he claimed he could sort some service for it. Told him I don’t own a TV, and before I knew it, he just hung up with no more chat.
