We feel the same way; it definitely seemed like a scam to us too.

We received a call followed by a text from 07501222295 urging us to contact 01792470077 regarding some bank fees we know nothing about. It's all quite baffling to us.

A call came through from 447501222295, suggesting that we should ring 01792470077 to recover certain bank fees. However, I can assure you, we don’t hold any charges with our bank whatsoever!

Received a text suggesting we might be late in recuperating some bank charges. They’ve asked us to reach out to their charge recovery service using the number provided (01792470077) and to reference CL22 when we do. The caller's number is +44 7918 907185. Quite intriguing!

We recently received a text from that number. We’re definitely choosing not to respond - it's wiser to err on the side of caution! If you're looking to reclaim any bank charges, make sure to visit Martin Lewis's site; it's incredibly informative and provides all the details you need, plus it’s secure! You know who he is, don’t you? He’s quite the figure on television!

We're of the opinion that Steve Clarke might be involved here. It seems to us that O2 could be peddling or dishing out our personal details, as this isn't the first time we've received messages of this sort. We've also had several emails from a marketing company claiming to be associated with O2, yet they want you to divulge all your personal information over the phone. To be perfectly frank, just disregard all of them - a right bunch of scoundrels, if you ask us!

Received a rather dodgy text from 07501 494685 saying: "YOU MAY NOW BE OVERDUE IN RECLAIMING your BANK CHARGES. TO PROCESS your CLAIM, ring the BANK CHARGE RECOVERY SERVICE on 01792 470077. MENTION REF CL22." Seems to have all the hallmarks of a dodgy marketing ploy if you ask me. Best to steer clear of it like the plague!

We received a text message telling us that we're behind on claiming back bank charges. We're pretty sure it’s a scam, but we're left wondering how they even got hold of our number in the first place!

It seems rather likely that O2 are peddling their telephone directories, as we're getting calls and texts on our iPhone from numbers we haven't shared at all. I'm planning to reach out to them promptly to have these numbers blocked. By the way, the 07501 number goes directly to a BT voicemail as soon as it's called, so it might be wise to contact BT about this as well and inquire about getting that line terminated.

Blimey! My sibling just told me that Martin Lewis appears on GMTV most mornings, so it’s worth checking out! He’s really the one with all the insights. Seriously though, don't engage with any emails, texts, letters, or phone calls from unknown numbers-keep your private details tight-lipped, right down to what colour knickers you’ve got on!

Indeed, we received a text urging us to call this number. The website they provided, ppisettlements.co, gives off a rather dubious vibe, almost as if it’s a scam.

I received a text message from the number 07501465011 that mentioned something about not having caught the Panorama episode on BBC last month. It also urged us to ring 01792470077 for information on how to eliminate our credit agreements and achieve freedom from debt within a mere 28 weeks. We’re currently with O2, but we decided against calling the number because it struck us as rather dodgy.

I've been on the Three network for a while now, and for more than a month, I've been getting calls from 01792469377. They follow it up with text messages that echo what many others have reported. I'm really not interested in engaging with them any further, but it’s clear they’re bothering a good number of people!

I'm with Vodafone and just received the same message.

Yesterday, our Orange mobile received a call from these individuals. Although their website seems quite genuine, their assertions about recovering money-particularly for loan insurances-sound a tad too incredible. One can’t help but wonder how they manage to obtain our mobile numbers in the first place. In any case, we politely turned down their so-called 'assistance'. Cheers, Jon Pike
