We received a call from these individuals, but they didn’t bother to leave a message. Since we don’t know anyone over in Wales, it’s clear they’re barking up the wrong tree!

Yet another company trying to peddle phone insurance! They were pretty cunning, posing as representatives of O2 and seemed to have some information about our contract-more by chance, I reckon. When they mentioned a reduced insurance premium, it dawned on us that they weren’t affiliated with O2 at all. We asked for their company name and they revealed it was ‘Shield’. To be quite honest, we weren’t at all interested after that, and just as swiftly, the tone shifted from friendly to quite insistent, as if they were saying, “Get off the phone, I’m trying to sell you something!” Quite the experience, I must say!

Absolutely! We happened upon this site rather unexpectedly. We've been bombarded with calls from these individuals over the past few weeks. One chap claimed to be from Vodafone and asked us to confirm our details. We weren't convinced, so we said we didn’t have any cards on hand and asked them to ring back later. Now, however, we’ve started to put the pieces together. The one thing that continues to perplex us is how on earth they had our banking and card information in the first place. It all seems rather dodgy, if you ask me!

These individuals tried their luck with us recently, both yesterday and again this afternoon. They gave a ring pretending to be from Shield Warranty. We've officially reported this to O2, who have promised to look into the matter. I’m planning to track down their address through a company search and might even pay them a little visit myself!

Sign up for the Telephone Preference Service, and in theory, it ought to put a stop to those pesky cold callers. You often find that just mentioning your registration can send them packing faster than a hare. I can’t help but chuckle at the idea proposed by Lee Evans - grab yourself a prepaid envelope, fill it with something less-than-pleasant, and return it with a note saying, "You send us your rubbish, here’s some of my own!" Classic!

I received a call that was cut short, and they didn’t bother to leave a message. I’m anticipating a call regarding a job opportunity, but I have no idea when they'll be in touch.

Absolutely! We stumbled upon this site while trying to make sense of the incessant calls we've been receiving over the past few weeks. A chap on the line said he was from Vodafone and asked us for our bank details to confirm something. We were understandably suspicious, so we let him know we didn’t have our card details to hand and requested that he call back later. In hindsight, I really wish we had more thoroughly vetted his claims. The glaring issue at hand is how on earth they obtained our bank and card information in the first place. Is this some sort of dodgy business tactic, or what? Quite disconcerting, really! 😕

Received a call touting some bargain basement phone insurance from T Cell, but we don’t need any cover at the moment. They asked for the last few digits of our debit card, which raised some alarm bells. The number they handed out this time was 01792610093, and honestly, the customer service number seemed a bit dodgy to me.

Hiya folks, just wanted to follow up on my previous message. In addition to what I've shared, keep an eye out for these numbers: 01792412659, 02920936005, and 07525718451. There’s a whole bunch that can’t be bothered to show their numbers. Rest assured, if any more calls come through, I'll be sure to update this space so we can all stay vigilant. Best of luck dealing with them, whether it's telling them to bugger off or something equally charming! Cheers, Tracie.

We keep getting calls from these muppets about mobile phone insurance. In the end, we just let them run up their phone bill chatting away, only to tell them where to stick it before hanging up. If you waste their time and then give them the old heave-ho, they’ll eventually stop bothering you. It’s quite amusing, really!

We received a call just shortly after signing up for a contract with O2 at Carphone Warehouse. It's rather alarming, as someone seemingly managed to use our banking details to withdraw a sum of £89. We've since closed the account, but O2 mentioned it’s something that occurs fairly often. It’s quite concerning, and now we’re left in a state of limbo, waiting to see what happens next. We did manage to get hold of a PO Box address: PO Box 383, Swansea, SA1 9FE. Just wondering, has anyone experienced similar issues with unauthorised deductions?

Just the other day, we had a couple of dodgy calls from these individuals, and they tried their luck again this afternoon. They claimed to be from the Shield Warranty company. We reported them to O2, who assured us they'd look into it. I've made up my mind to track these folks down via Companies House and might even pay them a little visit!

Just received yet another call from a company trying to sell us phone insurance. They were rather underhanded, pretending to represent O2 and managed to spout off some details about our contract - probably just a lucky guess. As soon as they mentioned slashing the insurance price, it dawned on us that they weren’t actually affiliated with O2 at all. When we pressed for their company name, they said it was Shield. The final part of the conversation went right over my head as I promptly told them we weren't interested. The tone of the call shifted from friendly to downright pushy, sounding like they were desperate to make a sale!

Someone called us from this number but didn’t bother to leave a message. We don’t know anyone in Wales, so we’re completely stumped!
