Next time they call, just pick up and then set your phone down without hanging up, let it ring without you saying a word. The call stays connected so they can’t hang up, and it really winds them up. It’s quite amusing to watch how annoyed they get.

For a few weeks, they were calling me nonstop every single day, then all of a sudden, they just quit out of nowhere. But now, after a couple of months, they’ve started up again, buzzing my phone almost daily. I did pick up once the first time they called, but no-one was on the other end, so I’m not picking up again. I reckon they’re probably calling loads of different numbers at the same time, and whoever picks up first has to deal with whatever questioning they’re doing, while the others either get silence or the line just drops.

they're pushing life insurance, reckon it’s the same outfit from that Channel 4 documentary! I told them to take me off their list and he claimed it might take up to 24 hours to process, so I’d still probably get a call today. I warned him I’d charge £10 for every call I receive after, he just said fine but repeated the 24 hour thing. When I pushed back, he called me difficult. I just told him to get lost!

I've had this number call both my mobile and landline a few times. One time my kid picked up and they just ended the call straight away. When I tried calling back, I got a voicemail telling me to ring an 0844 number instead. Proper annoying!
