Got a call from some bloke abroad saying my mobile number was breaking copyright rules and I had to switch to a different provider or else I'd be in trouble with the law, even jail. Honestly, it’s left me a bit shaken and unsure what to do.

My phone rang three times then just went quiet. Bet they were hoping I’d call back. Cheers for this site, definitely didn’t return the call. I’m on O2 but with Brexit and all, I reckon we’ll get loads more of these annoying calls. Once roaming fees go up and restrictions change, all those telesales folks from Asia will think we’re easy targets.

Got a call from this number earlier today while I was in Belfast. It’s definitely someone trying to pull a scam on you. If you fancy a bit of a laugh, just go along with whatever they say like you believe it, and then ditch the call.
