This number appears to be untrustworthy and is likely spam. Best to steer clear of it!

I received a voicemail that seemed to be from Amazon, stating that they were going to withdraw £59.99 from my bank account for the automatic renewal of my Prime subscription. They urged me to press 1 if I wanted to cancel it. Seems dodgy to me!

Loads of people have said this already, but it's definitely one of those scams tied to Amazon Prime. I actually ended my Prime trial just last night and today I've had tons of calls from various numbers, all pretending to be from Amazon Prime. Pretty clear they’re up to no good.

01788810001 keeps ringing our place non stop. It’s some American lady with an automated voice for Amazon Prime, saying I owe £39.99. Proper annoying, especially when it woke me up just after 8 this morning. I reckon I’ve had around 40 calls from this number over the past few months. Amazon really needs to sort this out!

Got calls from 01788 810001 at about 10:15 this morning, June 4th, with a recorded message about renewing Amazon Prime. Then earlier, around 8:15 am, another automated call from 01892 833976 popped up saying the same thing. I've never even signed up for Amazon Prime! Both numbers have been blocked straight away!

Got a robocall earlier today saying Amazon is gonna bill me £39.99 for some service, then a couple hours later I got the exact same automated call from 0198373068. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Amazon, sounded like an American woman, said something about 39.99 but didn’t say what currency, then told me to press 1 to talk to an "Amazon" advisor. These fake calls keep popping up every week now.

On Thursday morning, 4th June 2020, I noticed a call from a number I didn't recognise around 10 am. I decided not to pick up!

Got a ring from 01788810001 on the morning of 4th June 2020, just about 9.30am. I never pick up strange numbers but I always check them online first. If they pop up here marked as dodgy, I jot them down since these con artists tend to keep phoning back.

Just got a call from 01788810001, same old Amazon Prime scam with a recorded voice telling me to press a button to chat with someone about my Amazon Prime subscription. Hung up straight away and blocked the number, but you know they'll just ring back from another number soon enough. Typical.

Got a call from 017188810001 earlier, but as soon as I answered, they just ended the call. After checking the number online, loads of warnings popped up saying it's risky. Looks like these calls are now hitting the Norfolk region. Watch out!

Just got one of those dodgy calls pretending to be from "Amazon Prime". If you hear that robotic voice, don't waste any time - hang up and block the caller. You'd reckon Amazon would have sorted this rubbish out ages ago!

I got a call from this number saying something about my Amazon Prime subscription ending and I think it mentioned £39 or something for renewal. The voice sounded American. I just ignored it and didn’t pick up.

Got called by this number a couple of times within an hour. Let it go to voicemail and some robotic voice started talking about my amazon prime account being expired - which is weird cause I dont even have one!

Got another call today from 01892833976, same as before. Both times it was a recorded message saying something about my Amazon Prime renewal costing £39.99 and to press 1 if I wanted to talk about it. Thing is, I don’t even have Amazon Prime!

I got this call from some scammers saying I had to renew my Amazon Prime, which I don't even have! I don’t have a credit card or internet at the moment, so they kept bugging me for info. If anyone is behind this, watch out - Action Fraud is onto stuff like this!

Got another call just a couple of hours after the first one. It was some automated voice saying my Amazon Prime subscription of £39.99 was going to renew soon, and to press 1 to talk to someone. I didn’t even bother checking or blocking the first call, which is what I usually do. This time the message was identical, but the voice was different. These scam calls keep coming from loads of different numbers, it’s quite annoying.

Rang me at 10:00 this morning, but I was too busy to pick up. Is this number linked to an Amazon scam, perhaps? Interestingly, I received a similar call at 8:00 from 01892833976 as well. Quite suspicious, wouldn’t you say?
