This year I’ve got loads of calls from slightly different numbers, all starting with 01785 and from Stafford. I picked up a couple of times and they said they were Claim Advisors, asking if we still had a timeshare. Each time I told them to stop ringing and they said they’d take us off their calling list. But the annoying thing is, the calls just keep coming, though we don’t even pick up any calls from 01785 anymore.

Yesterday I got a ring from 01785875363 and after reading some reviews, I just blocked it. Now today another call came from 01785878678, so I’m going to block that one too. I don’t know anyone in Stafford, so not sure why they’re calling me from there.

I never pick up and they never bother to leave a voicemail. I sold a timeshare ages back, so I’m pretty sure that’s how they’ve got hold of my phone number. I’ve blocked their calls but they just ring from different numbers, still with that 01785 area code. So I just ignore them now.

I received a rather bothersome call regarding my CLC timeshare, with the caller aggressively trying to persuade me to sell. The person was exceedingly rude and clearly went in for a hard sell approach. It feels like everyone’s suddenly jumping onto this bandwagon!

I’ve been contacted by someone insisting that I’ve been tricked into taking out a loan with a timeshare firm. They claimed to have sourced my information from something called the Timeshare Register (which, frankly, doesn’t exist), and stated they were operating on behalf of the Department of Justice. It’s clearly a scam!
