They rang but ended the call as soon as our voicemail kicked in.

Got a call from some call centre person who said they were an area coordinator for some safety and crime awareness programme around here. Funny thing is, the area code they gave didn't match our location at all. I just ended the call right away.

I picked up and after a bit of static, a man came on asking if he had the right Mr and Mrs. Something about his voice seemed off though, so I ended the call pretty quickly.
