Just like the others said, some bloke rang saying he was from “crime and safety awareness uk”. I blocked him straight away and now I'm off to report to the tps.

I've had calls from this number twice already this week but they didn't bother to leave a message. Funny timing considering there was a break-in attempt in our village about a week ago, and the police got involved. Quite a coincidence with the security talk above.

this morning, tuesday 26 march, my husband answered a call from a woman named katie claiming to be from a crime prevention group. she asked if anyone in our home was aged between 70 and 85. my husband confirmed that there was, and she went on to say they could provide some form of home security. regrettably, he agreed to have someone visit us at home. i found out about this later when i got back from the shops and quickly rang the police to report it. they told me they already knew about this scam and advised me to also report it to action fraud, which i have done.
