Got a call from someone saying they were with National Energy Service, said they'd have people in my neighbourhood tomorrow. I'm on the do not call list, so this felt pretty dodgy. I've blocked the number through BT and reported the lot. Seems like the same sort of thing others have been getting too.

Received a ring from 01784817625 regarding energy checks supposedly happening tomorrow on my street (I mentioned the street name). When I asked what company he was representing, he said it was several companies but didn’t specify which one. Then he tried to verify my name and address, which he got right, but I didn’t confirm anything back. I told him if they intended to do energy assessments here, they’d be stuck since our street is on a no cold caller list (which is true). He then just ended the call. Felt like a scam to me.

The tone I received was quite threatening, as the person on the other end insisted they had already spent £200 on the 'survey.' Best to steer clear of this number!
