Received a call from someone stating they were reaching out about an order that I supposedly placed with Amazon. They insisted that they needed to verify my iPhone purchase. However, when I mentioned I hadn't ordered anything of the sort, they quickly shifted gears, claiming I'd fallen victim to a scam and pushed me to provide a verification code they had supposedly sent. I decided to cut the conversation short and blocked the number without further ado.

I got a call from someone saying they were from Amazon, checking on an iPhone order. When I told them I hadn’t bought anything, they immediately claimed I’d been scammed. Then they sent me a text with a verification code to provide. I asked what payment they used since I hadn't received any alerts and said I couldn’t find any Amazon account linked. After I gave them a few different responses, they quickly gave up.
