Got a call from a young chap with a really friendly tone. He didn’t say much about what company he was from but did call me by my first name. He started talking about some loft insulation I supposedly got through a government scheme, claiming it was causing damp and mould issues. He was insistent they'd send someone round the same day to check it out. He spoke quickly, not really giving me a chance to say much, clearly trying to rush me. Problem is, my landlord installed the insulation, and if there was a real problem, I’d expect some official letter or something in the post first. So, I knew it was dodgy and just ended the call. Honestly, the whole thing was pretty well done and if I wasn't careful, I might’ve fallen for it, especially if I *had* gone through that government scheme. Maybe I could've played it smart by scheduling a visit and getting the police involved, but like I said, the way he talked was designed to throw me off. Just be cautious!

Got a call from a bloke today who said he was following up about my loft insulation. When i told him i never had any insulation done, he just hung up straight away.
