I tried ringing back but the number didn’t show up, and this isn’t the first time they’ve been ringing me. Not sure if this is even legal, maybe BT should do something about these persistent calls.

They rang me this morning around half past ten, but didn’t leave any message. This isn’t the first time it’s happened either.

Got a call from an Asian guy who said he was from Microsoft, saying there was a problem with my computer. I asked him which computer he meant, but he couldn’t give me a straight answer. So I asked if this was some kind of scam, ‘cos he didn’t have any real info. He then got proper rude, calling me stupid and threatening to block all my computers. I just laughed and told him his threats were pointless since he clearly wasn’t from Microsoft. This kind of thing could really mess with people who don’t know any better. I’ve reported the number to the police.

Got a call earlier today from a lady claiming to be from Microsoft. I called her out, saying she was actually phoning from India with some dodgy scam. She went all defensive, like "No I’m not, who said that?" When I insisted I knew the truth, she just hung up on me. Lovely!

Got a call from a guy saying his name was Steven, warning me my internet was about to be cut off. Within the space of 15 minutes this morning, he rang me three times. When I asked if he could call me back later, he gave me the number 02032393351. I didn’t bother calling it straight away, instead I dialled 1471 and saw a different number appear - a Stoke on Trent one, 01782. Anyway, my internet’s still running fine.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft, said my computer was in trouble. Knew it was a scam straight away, so I told him to buzz off and not to ring me again. But seriously, folks who aren’t as clued up could easily fall for this. These sorts of scams really ought to be stopped altogether.

Dodgy call from some bloke who said his name was 'Stuart' and claimed to work for Microsoft, saying there was an issue with my PC. I told him it was nonsense and that cold calling like that isn’t allowed. He kept going on (‘who said that?’ he kept asking) so I just hung up. This number has rung me twice in the last couple of days. Total scam, watch out!

I got a call from an Indian woman claiming to be from Microsoft. I told her I don’t even own a PC at home, but she called me a liar and said she had my computer ID number. I just told her to get lost. These calls are really annoying and could trick people who don’t realise it’s a scam.

I received a rather pushy call from someone claiming to be with Microsoft, insisting that I needed to power up my computer immediately due to some supposed hacking attempts. They even made a rather alarming threat about the police seizing my device! When I asked for a phone number to verify their identity, they became rather cagey. Best to steer clear of these conversations!
