Funny thing is he called a Birmingham line and got me at my office, asked if I was Mrs Hodgkiss. Told him he’d got the wrong number, then he went on to ask if I owned property in Shropshire. Told him he was miles off with that one!

Got a call about double glazed windows and doors. Some bloke with a heavy voice just reading off a script. Kept talking over me and wouldn’t answer any of my questions. Proper annoying.

Just like everyone else, got loads of missed calls from this number. Looked it up here and saw it was a cold call so I blocked it. Weird tho, tonight it called but phone didn’t ring, just left a voicemail saying the usual stuff others mentioned. Wonder if folks who blocked the number still get these voicemails?

Got a call from 01782 692752 on my mobile today, 11th October 2018 at 12:52pm, even tho my phone was off. Some woman with a really annoying, loud voice and a harsh Blackpool/Yorkshire type accent left a voicemail. She didn’t say her name or what company she was with, just a weird message like "Sorry you missed a call from us today. Don’t worry, we’ll try calling you again later or another day. Goodbye." Yeah right, they won’t be getting through again! Put her straight on the BLOCK LIST!!!!!

Got a call from 01782 692752 on my phone today 11th October 2018 at 12:52pm while it was switched off. A woman with a very annoying, loud voice and a sort of Blackpool/Yorkshire accent left a message but never said who she was or which company she’s with. All she said was: Sorry you missed our call today. No need to worry, we’ll try again later or another day. Goodbye. Yeah right, they won’t be calling back! Blocked for sure!

Someone called from Ecoseal - the window folks - saying "how are you today?" I told them I was pretty tied up and not interested in the call, asked nicely if they could take me off their calling list. To their credit, they stopped right away and were polite about it.

Got a call around 12:20 from someone claiming to be with Eco Seal, saying they had a great deal for me if my windows were installed before 2013. I told him I was too tied up to chat and ended the call. Looked up the number, 1471, then blocked it straight away.

Eco Seal called me and I have no idea where they got my number from, they even knew my address. When I told them I wasn’t interested, I was polite but they just hung up on me. I tried calling back to make a complaint and the person I spoke to was really rude and dismissive. I asked them to send me an apology letter, which is when I realised they had my address on file. Then they suddenly put me on mute and refused to answer anything. The way their team behaved was terrible - they wouldn’t even tell me their name when I asked. Completely unacceptable!
