Had a guy ring me up with a really strong Indian accent, saying his name was ‘John’ and he was offering a free gas boiler. I replied, ‘Oh that sounds good, John, but what’s your last name then?’ He kept going on about the free boiler, saying ‘Hello madam, you can get a free boiler.’ I tried again, ‘John, listen, I’m asking your surname.’ He just repeated, ‘Madam, how are you today? You can have a free gas boiler.’ I said, ‘Wait a second, John, I asked for your surname - did you not catch that?’ Then he just ended the call.

Some bloke called me saying his name was "John" and offered a free boiler. Every time I asked something, he just kept repeating the exact same script over and over. Proper annoying.
