Hey, just to say this isn’t a con or anything. I put in an application through Facebook for a gov grant to help get a new boiler installed. They rang me a couple days later. I’m not claiming any benefits, but my salary is below 31k. They asked me to send a photo of my current boiler via WhatsApp. The number they used was 01782 653311. I checked them out online and it’s a company called Broad Oak. Don’t worry, I’m not giving them any cash! Just thought I’d share, made me chuckle a bit.

I got a call from 01782 653311 today (07/10/2022) about an Energy Grant application. The guy said his name was Rukshan and told me he would email me asking for pictures of my boiler and proof of any benefits I get. He said my application was approved for the grant. But now, whenever I try calling that number back, it just doesn’t go through. Does anyone have the real phone number for the government grants related to the Eco scheme for central heating boilers?
