What a charlatan! I received a call from a chap sporting a British accent, purporting to be from some home funding department. Honestly, I struggled to trust anything that came out of his mouth.

got a call on my home phone from a bloke with a british accent, claiming he was from some ‘home funding department’ or something like that. i told him i didn’t recognise the name and thought it sounded made up to seem legit. as soon as i said that, he hung up right away, which just screams scam to me. bet there’ll be plenty more people spotting this dodgy call soon.
