3 yearsI’ve never haad any dealings in Stoke On Trent, so I’m pretty sure this is just some dodgy sales call or a scam. No clue why they thought they should ring me up.Stoke - on - Trent3 yearsI received a text regarding some “personal affairs.” Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend clicking the link or giving them a ring, in my opinion.10 yearsBest to hang up and not engage, as it's likely this outfit isn't legitimate. Called on 9th October 2010 at half past six in the evening.12 yearsToday, we received a rather dubious phone call from a group claiming we owed BT £187. In an unfortunate lapse of judgement, we ended up sharing our card details with them. Thankfully, it didn’t take long before the realisation struck - we actually settle our BT payments via direct debit. A quick call to BT confirmed that we had an outstanding balance of precisely zero pounds! We've been advised to contact the bank's fraud team posthaste. Consequently, our card has been put on hold while an investigation is carried out. It’s definitely caused us some hassle, that’s for sure. I cannot stress enough how important it is to never divulge personal information to these scammers. Consider this your warning!BTSubmit Your Own Report (01782 401144)
