3 monthsGot a call from this number earlier, voice had a strong Indian accent, but my phone showed it coming from Stoke-on-Trent. The guy claimed to be from a company called 3 and said they needed to send me a replacement SIM. He asked me to verify some personal info, but I kept avoiding giving anything away. Then he got all angry and started raising his voice. After that, some bloke named Michael took over, saying if I didn’t get their new SIM, my phone would be dead in two days. I pretended not to understand much, and after a bit, they just hung up. Absolutely dodgy and scammy behaviour.Stoke - on - Trent3Michael3 monthsWatch out, these are definitely scam calls. I got tricked once before, but managed to track the number back to Pakistan. They pretend to be from Three, but it’s a complete lie. If you share your info, they’ll add an eSIM to your account and cancel your real SIM. Then, using that new eSIM, they get into your email by resetting the password through your phone number. After that, they link your mobile number to a Google Play account and make purchases charged to your phone bill. Good luck trying to get it reversed - I’m still battling to sort mine out from half a year ago!PakistanThreeGoogle PlaySubmit Your Own Report (01782 357989)
