About an hour back, I received a call from a lady with a foreign accent who introduced herself as "Rachel from Microsoft at the Reading Campus." She was going on about some supposed problems with my computer, alleging that it had been hacked. The cheeky part, however, is that she was the one trying to pull a fast one on me and gain access to my PC!

I got a call from a woman named Rachel who spoke with a strong Indian accent, saying she was from Microsoft's office in Reading. She said there was an issue with my PC and that "some nasty folks were using it for dodgy stuff online". She threatened to shut down my computer if I didn't follow her instructions. When I said I didn’t really trust what she was saying, she got a bit snappy. I kept her chatting for about 5 minutes until she finally ended the call.
