I got a call from 01781 064251 with a robotic woman saying my internet ID was hacked several times. Luckily, I've got a call blocker set up, so hopefully, that number won't bother me again. I'm from West London, by the way.

This morning I had two calls from 01781 529772. I didn’t bother giving the number to my call blocker, so I just ignored them both. Probably just another telemarketer or something.

I recently received a call from a gentleman who appeared to be of Asian descent, claiming that I had filed a complaint regarding my broadband service with Sky. The curious thing is, I haven't lodged any complaints at all, and my broadband is running perfectly well. I ended up hanging up on him. The number displayed was 01781 917495.

This number keeps ringing me up about Amazon Prime, but I reckon it’s a total scam. They’ve called me like four times every single day!

Got a call from 01781472006 around lunchtime. I picked up but didn’t say anything. There was silence on the other end before they just hung up. Definitely some kind of scam.

Apparently, the number starting with 01781 isn’t even real for normal use - it’s actually an unused code, which scammers take advantage of to spoof calls. Watch out!

I got a call from 01781-938156 at 8:08 in the morning. Didn’t pick up since I reckon that’s when all these scam people usually ring. I’m in Shropshire, and it felt like just another dodgy call to me.

Just got a call from 01781 964258, with a recorded voice saying they were Mastercard security saying there was a £600 transaction from my account 15 minutes earlier. They told me to press 1 if I wanted to cancel it. I just hung up straight away. Funny thing is, this is the third time this week I’ve received calls from different 01781 numbers. Pretty suspicious if you ask me.

This number has repeatedly rung my home phone, but as soon as I pick up, there’s nothing but silence on the line. I suspect it’s nothing more than a scam.

Received a call from 876721, and an automated voice with an Asian accent claimed to be from BT. I've logged numerous complaints about these scam calls with BT, but they just advise me to hang up, ring 1572, and select option one for them to be blocked. Here I am, two years later, and they’re still pestering me! Unreal!

Received a rather ominous call this evening, informing me that my internet service is set to be disconnected later tonight. The voice had a distinctly British twang and was rather mechanical, making it sound all the more unsettling.

I received a voice message that had all the melodrama of an impending apocalypse! Even after countless calls with the same ominous warning, my internet and phone seem utterly unfazed by this so-called catastrophe. It's rather amusing, isn't it?

01781 871992 - They rang me up asserting they were from BT, saying there was an issue with my laptop. The voice was quite robotic, almost like a tape repeating itself, trying to guide me through a menu. No chance, I’ll ignore that!

I received a call from a man with an Indian accent who seemed rather scripted. He started blabbing on about needing to access my internet due to numerous reported faults with BT and another provider. However, when I probed him about his location, he abruptly ended the call. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!
