I usually keep it civil when dealing with sales calls as I understand they’re just trying to earn a living, but shady characters like these really make me rethink my approach...

Received a call this morning claiming to be from Citizens Advice, supposedly regarding a car accident I never had. I told them to cease their calls, as thankfully, I've not been in any mishap. The young lady abruptly hung up after that. I only picked up because it was a local number that called me.

I received a call earlier today, claiming to be from my insurance provider regarding a supposed accident involving my vehicle. I found it rather peculiar since I don't drive and, therefore, don’t possess a car at all. Just as I pointed this out, the call abruptly ended. Quite odd, indeed!
