Got a call from some scammer pretending to be from HMRC. It was one of those recorded messages warning me I'd be arrested soon if I didn’t hit 1. The bloke had a proper British accent and sounded pretty serious. Honestly, I can see how folks might freak out and press 1. I’ve made sure to alert the real HMRC about it.
