The call began with a recorded voice saying, “this call is being forwarded from BT.” It then warned me my internet would be cut off unless I pressed 1 to talk to an adviser or 2 to allow the disconnection. Honestly, I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve received this same scam message. I didn’t respond or press anything, and after roughly 20 seconds, the call just got cut off by those scammers.
