Oh, ganz ähnlich erging es mir! Der Angestellte hatte schnell bemerkt, dass ich keinerlei Interesse daran hatte, am Telefon irgendwelche Verträge abzuschließen. Kaum wollte ich, dass er mir die Informationen schriftlich zukommen lässt, wurde er richtig unhöflich. Wahrscheinlich war er besorgt, dass seine schöne Abschlussquote nun gefährdet ist! 😉 Da wird einem doch spätestens dann klar, dass da etwas nicht ganz kosher ist, oder?

I too just received a call claiming I had won a holiday voucher. Naturally, I was a bit dubious and asked what the catch was, as I tend to be rather cautious with these things. The chap on the line became quite irate, questioning why I even entered the competition in the first place. He insisted it wasn’t his responsibility to prove that there was no catch, and then promptly hung up on me. It's clear as day that it’s nothing more than a scam!

Er hat sich wirklich danebenbenommen und merkwürdige Bemerkungen gemacht, die in die falsche Richtung gehen. Vielleicht sollte er besser Deutsch lernen oder einfach wieder nach Hause fahren.

Ich habe das Ganze jetzt mal an die Verbraucherzentrale Niedersachsen weitergeleitet, sogar mit einem Link zu dieser Seite. Ich kann nur jedem raten, das Gleiche zu tun! Denen sollte mal ordentlich der Wind aus den Segeln genommen werden!

Today, I received three consecutive calls from this number, but I didn’t pick up. It was only afterwards that I realised I had missed the call. To be honest, if I see that number pop up again, I won’t be answering it! Silly prize competitions - they could just deliver the car right to my doorstep instead! I’m quite curious, though; I wonder if they’re going to misuse my address details now. What a hassle!

Halli Hallo, könnte mir jemand verraten, wo genau dieser Anruf herkommt? Ich bin leider auf einen Schwindel reingefallen und kann niemanden am Telefon erreichen. Es wäre klasse, wenn ich direkt dorthin schreiben könnte, um das Ganze rückgängig zu machen! Ich verstehe einfach nicht, warum ich so naiv war... :(
