Heute erhielt ich ebenfalls einen Anruf von dieser Nummer. Der Herr am Telefon meinte, ich hätte einen Reisegewinn erzielt. Ich hatte gestern einen Flyer vor dem Einkaufszentrum ausgefüllt und jetzt der Anruf. Es ist kaum zu fassen, also lasse ich es lieber auf mich zukommen und schaue, ob die Flugtickets tatsächlich eintreffen.

Brilliant! I've bagged the holiday, but apparently, I need to subscribe to a magazine of my choice at a special rate to prove I’ll actually go on the trip. How cheeky! It’s almost as if that magazine will be chasing me down with a wooden spoon, making sure I don’t bail on the getaway! 😄 They're really going all out to push those subscriptions, though. Oh, and by the way, I think she might have a bit of a crush on me-she’s keen to join me on the adventure to Egypt!

Ich erhielt einen Anruf von jemandem namens Kevin Chesters, der mir mitteilte, dass ich angeblich einen Urlaub nach Ägypten oder in die Türkei gewonnen hätte. Er wollte sofort meine Kontoinformationen, da ich ein Abo für eine Zeitschrift meiner Wahl abschliessen müsse, um diesen tollen Urlaub zu erhalten. Das erscheint mir alles ziemlich absurd; man kann doch im Internet nachlesen, dass solche Maschen weit verbreitet sind! Sicherlich muss man für das Abo zahlen, aber ich bezweifle ernsthaft, dass man jemals die Reise sieht. Unglaublich, dass es solche Menschen gibt! Verzweiflung pur!!!
