10 yearsI've been getting calls from some company that claim to help save on energy bills for ages. I finally answered on June 10th. After explaining why solar panels weren't an option for me (it's a long story), the caller suggested they could install a gadget on my gas boiler to help reduce costs. It sounded quite promising, so I tried to arrange a visit. But then they said both me and my partner needed to be present. Since my partner’s away for work a lot, I said that wouldn’t be possible, and they insisted that was mandatory. At that point, I told them it wasn’t worth pursuing.
