Received a call from a person who seemed all too familiar with my name and was promoting some sort of home security initiative aimed at safeguarding vulnerable individuals, claiming it was launching locally. I've never come across anything like that before. The moment I probed about who was behind this scheme, they abruptly hung up. I can’t shake the feeling that it was just a cunning ploy to rope me into some finance arrangement. I've now blocked their number.
