I got a call from someone claiming to be with Crown Energy doing a survey about our street’s energy use. They actually knew my name and where I live, which seemed weird at first. In the end, it was just a scam trying to trick me.

They called claiming to be from some energy firm called Crown. Apparently, they got my info from a form I supposedly filled out ages ago, but I’d deleted it because I’d actually misspelled my own name. That’s how I could tell it was a scam, especially since they kept messing up my name’s pronunciation.

Got a call from George out of Clowne, he had all my details like my name, address and number and was interested in buying my house. I told him I’m just renting and to stop with the calls. Total spam, best to just ignore it.
