I received a call from someone claiming to be with Crown Energy, stating they were conducting an energy assessment in my area. They knew my name and my address, which raised my suspicions. After some digging, I discovered it was all a ruse.

Apparently, they got my info from a form I supposedly filled out ages ago, but I’d deleted it because I’d actually misspelled my own name. That’s how I could tell it was a scam, especially since they kept messing up my name’s pronunciation.

Got a call from George out of Clowne, he had all my details like my name, address and number and was interested in buying my house. I told him I’m just renting and to stop with the calls. Total spam, best to just ignore it.
