The person on the other end claimed they had purchased a lottery ticket online and proceeded to ask numerous personal questions. However, when my mum inquired about his name, he abruptly terminated the call. Quite suspicious, isn't it?9 yearsHad a second ring this evening just after seven whilst I was busy preparing dinner. My husband urged me to return the call, but there was no reply and no voicemail left either. The earlier call came from a woman representing some outfit called Global Heating. Oddly enough, she totally butchered a straightforward Scottish surname, even though she seemed to be a native English speaker. I mentioned we were registered with the Telephone Preference Service, but she didn't seem to understand what that even was. I've reported the incident to the ICO as it seems rather dodgy.
