I got a phone call telling me I had supposedly agreed to back an anti-bullying booklet and they wanted to know which school I wanted to donate it to. I didn’t remember ever saying yes to that, and told them so, but I did confirm my address. Then this so-called Prevention Centre sent me a really thin booklet with a cheap little sticker that had my small business info on it stuck to the back. Honestly, it’s starting to seem a bit dodgy...

Got a call today saying I supposedly agreed to chip in £250 for some school road safety books. They even tried to send me a bill! Proper cheeky if you ask me.

Received a call from a place called The Prevention Centre, they claimed they’d already talked to me before and that I’d signed up to sponsor safety equipment for a local school. They even knew some details about me and my workplace which made it sound convincing. Sadly, it seems to be a scam trying to trick you into handing over money. Be careful and don’t get caught out by this!
