2 yearsGot a call from a local number so I picked up. A woman’s automated voice said there were two charges on my bank card - one for £300 from amazon and another for £1000 from somewhere else. She asked me to press 1 if I recognised the payments or 2 if I wanted to talk to my bank. I just hung up without doing anything. I looked up the number afterwards and thought I’d share it here for everyone’s warning. The call came through on 22nd April 2024 at 2:52pm, and I’ve already blocked the number.
