Some bloke claiming to be from Fleet magazine rang me? Dodgy call, really pushy, wanted details on company cars. I asked why he needed that but he just couldn't explain. Told him I won't give out info over the phone and asked for an email, never got one. Definitely sounds like a scam to me...

Not sure who it was but this bloke left a pretty rude voicemail, wasn’t talking to me directly but more chatting with others nearby. Definitely picked up on a bit of a Liverpool accent! Flagged it as dangerous 'cause of what he was saying.

I received an unexpected call from a chap with a strong Scouse accent, who claimed to be representing Fleetpoint Magazine. Honestly, he sounded a bit on the tipsy side, and his manner was rather peculiar. He was quite insistent on gathering details about our company vehicles but didn’t seem keen to provide any rationale for his questions. On several occasions, he asked to speak with various colleagues instead of just chatting with me, which only added to the confusion. After much back and forth, I finally managed to uncover the crux of his inquiry. It turns out he was fishing for information on our vehicles in order to bombard us with offers and newsletters. At best, he seemed somewhat unprofessional; at worst, it felt like I was dealing with a spam caller. Unsurprisingly, he ended the conversation rather abruptly when I indicated my lack of interest, and I’ve since blocked the number. Do yourself a favour - don’t waste your time; just hang up and save yourself the hassle.
