I've been getting calls from some dodgy prepaid number demanding either £500 or £2000, threatening to send bailiffs in uniform with ID and cameras if I don’t pay. I spoke to the police and they told me to call them straight away if these calls come through again. This so-called company is just trying to rip people off and should be shut down. Don’t answer or fall for it - they’ll only find ways to jack up your phone bill and steal from you.

For the past few weeks, I've been hassled by someone from OBD LTD, either Craig or Gary. They keep insisting I agreed to a rolling contract, which I never did. I’ve now reported the whole thing to Action Fraud and the Police, who are taking a good look into this firm. If you’re getting hounded by Craig or Gary, the best thing you can do is avoid any contact with them whatsoever.

Our solicitor kindly checked the documents for us without charging a penny, and his advice was pretty much to just forget about it and have OBD get in touch with him instead. Since then, OBD haven’t reached out at all. So that’s that.

Honestly, I’m pretty sure the comment from 31/05/2018 is just made up. It looks like it’s something the OBD folks put out themselves. They’re probably keeping an eye on these threads. Why does the government just sit back and do nothing? Surely they have some way to stop these terrible companies from carrying on like this.

Just like loads of others, I made the mistake of placing an advert back in 2014. Had zero contact from them until recently, and now they keep ringing and emailing with threats. They’re even saying they might take legal steps against me. Thing is, I never agreed to any terms and conditions. It was only meant to be a one year online ad that I signed up for. Proper nuisance!

I've received a call from a company called OBD Ltd, supposedly concerning an outstanding debt that I owe. It feels rather dodgy, if I'm honest! It’s quite alarming that they seem to possess some of my personal details. I've since blocked their number to avoid any further hassle.

We’ve actually got a CCJ from this lot. They’re constantly phoning up Gary and his mate Craig, it’s their nuisance calls all over again. The problem is, the CCJ is still standing against us and getting rid of it means shelling out loads on an appeal. Heard loads of others moaning about the same kind of thing too. Anyone know a way to sort this mess? It really feels like a scam.

I've been getting endless calls and emails for about 6 weeks now, all asking me to pay up even tho I told them ages ago, like 2 years back, I wasn’t interested in any subscription. Tried blocking the number, but they just ring from somewhere else each time. Proper annoying!

This company has been bombarding me with calls and emails nonstop, plus sending threats. It’s exactly the same as what others are saying. Apparently, they took a payment from my account back in 2014, which I had no clue about until just recently. Now, they’re threatening legal action unless I pay up for the past three years. I’ve already reported them to the police and trading standards. They often ring from hidden numbers, and if you try calling back the number they give, no one picks up. Honestly, they’re a proper disgrace.

Garry here. This sounds just like alot of others I've seen. They say I owe money for a second year on an ad I didn’t even realise I'd agreed to. I paid for the first year once they threatened legal action, but then they hit me up again for another year even tho I was clear I didn’t want anything else to do with them. They seem to call when they’re not being recorded, and then months later send a bill for stuff I never asked for. Real dodgy practice if you ask me.

These annoying people keep harassing me saying i agreed to some online listing contract. They phone me every single day demanding payment and even send threatening letters! I’ve repeatedly asked them to show me the paper i supposedly signed but they never do. So until they actually prove what they claim, they better stop calling me!

OBD LTD might be a legit company on paper, but they seem like total con artists to me. Funny how being a Managing Director almost feels like it gives them some scammer badge these days. Bet Craig or Gary are keeping a close eye on what folks are saying about them here!

The phone number belongs to someone called Gary, or possibly goes by Craig Easton from OBD. I've noticed they sometimes call from 01722 396094 or 07715631929 too. They try to scare you, saying you’ve signed up to a never-ending contract or some sort of dodgy deal. Watch out for these tricks!

Back in December 2017, this bloke Gary kept calling me from OBD claiming I owed £300 for payments from two years ago. When you check my supposed listing, you’ll notice it’s just a copy from some other website. I asked him to send me the details of the contract by email, but he insisted he’d already sent loads of emails and letters. Thing is, I never got any of them.

It’s really shocking to see some folks using this site to throw around baseless claims (like the one from 29/09/2016). We don’t want to air private stuff here, but it’s important to set the record straight. We’ve made numerous calls and handed over all the paperwork this company asked for, just like we’d do with any other debtor. Calling this behaviour fraudulent is just baffling and makes no sense at all.

Whenever we get in touch, we always include full company and contact info, no exceptions. Just want to make clear again that we don’t use any recovery agents like the ones mentioned (19/04/2016). If anyone says they're from us and starts threatening with that stuff, please reach out to us straight away.

I’ve seen the latest remarks on here and as the company’s managing director, I’m really upset and annoyed that we’re having to justify ourselves as a genuine organisation. We know there have been ‘SCAMS’ going on in this line of work targeting people and companies, and we’re fully committed to fighting this. We’re cooperating closely with the police and fraud watchdogs to tackle these issues head on.

This number keeps harassing us, saying they’re from some Online Business Directory and that we owe fees for the second year. We never heard of them the first year, and I checked - our company isn't even listed. They claim to have sent an invoice from last year, but we never got anything. When I warned them that I’d report to the cops if they kept ringing, they just said the calls wouldn’t stop until we pay for Year 2. Total scam, don’t fall for it!

Most info they had was actually on my business site anyway. Now they’re calling from a hidden number, so it’s clear they’re not a legit company.

Scam alert! Got a call from someone claiming to be from the Finance Dept at some Online Business Directory. I looked them up and they kept pushing me to pay by card right then and there on the phone. When I said no, they started threatening me with a cancellation fee. Total rip off.
