After reading the reviews here, I decided to block the call straight away.

I normally avoid picking up calls from unkown numbers. They never left a voicemail, so I've just gone ahead and blocked it.

The caller claimed they were from Simply Life and wanted to talk about life insurance policies. I told them I wasn't interested because I already have enough coverage. They kept pushing, asking how much I was currently paying, and got a bit annoyed when I refused to share that info.

If I get a call from an unknown number, I usually just let it go to voicemail. Since there was no message left, I'm guessing it was probably some kind of call centre. I've decided to block the number now.
