It seems that these individuals represent a debt collection agency affiliated with TV licensing.

It's quite maddening how TV licensing seems to hound you the very instant you're even a smidgen overdue on your fee for watching the same old BBC reruns. And don't get me started on the multitude of managerial positions they've got over at the Beeb - it's as if they're running a small nation instead of a broadcasting corporation. Caller: I've got my doubts.

I received a call this morning from someone claiming to be from the TV licensing department, which I found odd as they shouldn't have my landline number at all. When I mentioned I handle everything online, they seemed to accept that and the conversation came to an end. Quite a peculiar encounter, if you ask me!
